The last few days FPNA has received numerous reports of off-road driving in sensitive, often protected areas - such as on limestone cliffs (Baranca), mud flats (Saliña), dunes and beaches. Note that driving on white sand (dunes & beaches) and disturbing and harming protected species and habitats is a criminal offence with a fine of up to Afl. 10.000 or a jail sentence of up to 90 days (AB 1987 no.124 & AB 1995 no.2). Please help preserve our unique and vulnerable nature and drive slowly and carefully while keeping to the designated roads and off-road trails. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
